Ravica

Ravica is a 3D role-playing adventure game happened in a cloud island. It happens on an island -- more specifically, an island in the sky, surrounded by the sea of clouds. The setting is in a fantasy world where all people live in sky islands. Different islands have different themes.

This project was made in a semester for Level Design class at RPI. It was a solo project and I mainly focused on the art, shading and mechanics design.

The core mechanics of this game are missions and the blueprint system. There are two sections of this blueprint system. The first section is the design panel, which is to make a blueprint according to the requirements. The second section is the assemble panel, which is to put all the required materials together.

This project for me is like a terminator on my undergrad years. Of course there are much more design details, but I only managed to finish one level by the end of that semester. I love this idea a lot as I keep developing it. Hopefully one day I will get the chance to actually work on this game!
